California State Bird Cap

California State Bird, Est. 1931. A nod to the California Quail, named our official state bird that year, embroidered on a soft, broken-in cap.

Each cap is made to order in our San Diego studio on 100 percent cotton pigment-dyed twill, a low-profile, unstructured crown that softens and shapes to you with wear. Finished with a Nubuck leather strap and antique-brass buckle.

Pigment dyeing gives each cap a slightly weathered, lived-in tone, so color varies a little from cap to cap. It's part of the character, like a well-worn field hat!
